FYLD is an established, international AI platform connecting workers, engineers and managers on utility, civil and energy field operations. Chapeau! designed FYLD ShowMe: a proof of concept that extends that same AI system to citizens reporting an issue or requesting a service.
FYLD's platform already connected workers, engineers and managers in the field. But the public had no way in: a citizen who spotted a leak or needed a utility service still had no direct channel into that system, and the new product built to fix that didn't exist yet.
The gap

FYLD needed more than working software: a prototype polished enough to demonstrate and sell the concept to governments and utility companies.
The new product's scope and features didn't exist on paper. They had to be defined from scratch, alongside FYLD, before anything could be designed.
A prototype built on guesses wouldn't have survived a sales pitch. Chapeau! ran a full design-thinking process with FYLD, then compressed it into a working product on a tight timeline.
How it came together
Chapeau! interviewed more than a dozen stakeholders and clients to understand how citizens would realistically report a utility issue in the field.
Chapeau! collaborated directly with FYLD to define the business requirements and product features behind ShowMe, from nothing.
A structured design-thinking process turned that research into a citizen-facing flow, fast, on a tight timeline.
The prototype was made interactive and market-ready, tuned for the specific job of winning a room full of governments and utility companies.
The prototype did the one job it needed to do: it sold. FYLD ShowMe has since moved from proof of concept to a live product expanding across the utilities sector.
What it unlocked

ShowMe reuses FYLD's existing AI backbone rather than becoming a disconnected side product, so citizen reports plug directly into the same system field crews already use.
